Our Work:
The Charity provides financial help in funding the purchase of mobility/sensory/vision equipment for children and young people up to the age of 25 years and living within a 50 mile radius of Stourbridge in the West Midlands (which means that our area of work covers around 75% of the whole Midlands area), when there are no other sources of funding available to purchase the equipment proposed by the relevant Healthcare Professional.
Without a grant from the Charity, the family would not be able to proceed with the purchase of the equipment proposed, which is often urgently needed. The Charity operates with zero administration cost so that every penny raised goes where the donors intended, and we also try to respond within 24 to 48 hours of receiving a request. More details of the background to the Charity and the work that we do can be found on the About Us webpage.

Reaching our First Milestone:
During November 2021, having completed 18 years of operation since inception (our Trust Deed was approved on 19th November 2003), the Charity reached the first major milestone of £1,000,000 raised and granted, having helped over 850 cases since we started our work. All of this was achieved with zero administration cost so that everything we received from our supporters was used to help the children and young people. We intend to continue to operate in the same zero cost manner to maximise the benefit of the donations we receive, and look forward to the challenge of reaching the two million pound milestone.
Position as at 31.12.23:
After completing just over two years since reaching our first major milestone we are within a few hundred pounds of having completed £1.2 Million raised and granted and we have now helped 1,030 cases since we started our work. As stated above we intend to continue with the challenge of reaching the next major milestone.
